Companion

Sprinkle some glitter over
his dark expanse,
and riddle him for
his new found lustre.

He smiles when he’s
reaffirmed of his nihilism,
and screams with rage
when teased.

Hinged onto the
livid memories, he
tries to surprise you at
your minor fallacies.

Let him eat away your soul,
your conscience. And cherish his
departure while you
indulge in hedonism.

He’ll come back again when you
return from your escapades.
Maybe a little weaker, for anyways
he was just a, Regret.
